Printing & Pen Recommendations
For the best results, I recommend printing the workbook on smooth calligraphy-friendly paper, such as HP ColourChoice or similar. Smooth paper helps prevent fraying and gives you cleaner, more controlled strokes.
This workbook works especially well with fine tip brush pens, including Tombow Fudenosuke and Pentel Brush Sign Pens. You can also use a calligraphy dip pen for these exercises (I recommend a Nikko G nib)
These pens are ideal for beginners and make daily practice feel easier and more enjoyable.
